Questions before you commit
Can anyone scan the QR code?
Yes. The public vessel SDS link is read-only and does not require a WaterTight login. Treat the URL as sensitive and rotate it if it is exposed beyond the vessel.
Who can add or link SDS products?
Users with safety read can browse. Adding entries and linking products to vessels typically requires safety write.
Does the QR open the full dashboard?
No. It opens the controlled public SDS list for that vessel only—not the company dashboard or other modules.
Can SDS sheets work offline on mobile?
After prepare-for-offline, the crew app may show cached sheets. Confirm you still have the current edition before relying on a cache.
